Love is a longing to include someone as a part of yourself. It is a possibility to become more than what you are, by inclusion.
Falling in love,” is significant because no one rises in love or climbs in love. You fall in love, because something of who you are has to go. If not the whole of you, at least a part of you should collapse. Only then there is a love. You are willing to destroy a bit of yourself for the sake of the other. It essentially means someone else has become far more important than yourself.
But unfortunately, what most people call “love” is just a mutual benefit scheme.
But If we can look at everything lovingly, the whole world becomes beautiful in our experience. We realize love is not something that we do; love is the way we are.
When we talk about love, it has to be unconditional. There is really no such thing as conditional love and unconditional love. It is just that there are conditions and there is love. The moment there is a condition, it just amounts to a transaction. Maybe a convenient transaction, maybe a good arrangement – maybe many people made excellent arrangements in life – but that will not fulfill you; that will not transport you to another dimension. It is just the convenient.
What we do, what we do not do, is according to circumstances around us. Our actions are as the external situation demands. What we do outside of ourselves is always subject to many conditions. But love is an inner state – how we are within ourselves can definitely be unconditional.
Love is not something to do with someone else. Love is never between two people. It is what happens within us, and what happens within us need not be enslaved to someone else. For 15 to 20 minutes daily, go sit with something that means nothing to you – maybe a tree, or a pebble, or a worm or an insect. After some time, you will find you can look upon it with as much love as you do your wife or husband or your mother or your child. Maybe the worm does not know this. That doesn’t matter. If you can look at everything lovingly, the whole world becomes beautiful in your experience. You realize love is not something that you do; love is the way you are.
Time, a phenomenon, is more of convenience than the reality. We invented time to answer our own questions, when we failed to understand the flow of life and everything around us. When we realized that we are trapped into this mortal body and have no visible means to defy it. When we understood that we have to breathe anyway and we really could not make choices on certain aspects of our own life. When the unbroken chains of events were having significant impacts of our life and every event was tightly integrated with other events as we felt. When an absolute event did not make sense or could not be felt by our limited knowledge.
According to me, Universe never created time. It has only created consciousness, a pure awareness. An awareness of being fully aware and just remain. Not for forever but for NOW. For the moment and this is the only important thing. They are no need to keep traces of moments but just let the moment pass through you. Universe is in the eternal state of NOW and free from the shackles or prison of time.
Time is the worst trap, we invented for humanity. By not allowing ourselves to feel completely in moment but to pacify our ego in the name of unfolding the secrets of Universe, we needed another parameter, which could keep track of events .Time was the most obvious candidate.
Lucy, a 2014 movie clearly explains the time as a mere perception to comprehend the reality around us. Since reality is changing every moment and this is the same reason, moment is the only important thing, we should feel.
Alert Einstein invented Relativity Theory for the understanding of humans. He showed that time also moves (time dilation) and this was again an effort to analyze time in order to capture and control but not to impart real knowledge.
Unfortunately, humans have always been ignorant of one thing that real knowledge can come only from experiencing the truth. To know and feel the truth, one must have to go and look beyond time as all the answer lays there when you breach your own perception of time and become one.
I must say that our knowledge is driven by our convenience to know and understand and not on the absolute truth. Until, we feel and acknowledge these facts, we shall always be imprisoned in our false identity with respect to time.
Everything is energy but how many of us really understand this reality. At the microscopic level, matter reality unfolds itself and reveals a completely new truth. By going deeper and deeper, matter starts dissolving itself and finally leads to a point, where it existence mere become an illusion as we encounter something new. A new state of mind, a pure consciousness, free from ego or sense of I, emerges. In this state, only thing one can feel, is profound peace and knowledge of everything. Nothing is secret anymore and every law reveals its own fundamentals. In this state, one does not die or leave for some imaginary geographic place called Heaven or Mokhsha. It is the state of bliss, in which Nature fondly embraces and allows you to be pure consciousness with infinite level of awareness.
If it is so pure and profound then why are we not reaching to this stage? Why are we still suffering? Most importantly, why are we allowing ourselves to suffer?
According to my opinion, it is lack of awareness. It is the unawareness about our own sense of being and letting us to forget the same.
We evolved from Apes and learnt to do many things. Slowly Nature helped us to construct or develop our abilities of being aware of our reality. As we kept on progressing on the evolution path so our abilities of exercising free will.
Probably as trade off, Nature somewhere kept the balance and exposed us to divine and evil both in the same space.
Free will did wonder to us as it gave us the abilities to choose. Some chose divine and rest chose evil and both flourished.
Society started forming and we as humans started building more and more matter. Because, we did not develop so much in knowledge by then that we could perceive the fallacy of matter. Also what we could see only matter all around us so probably we took it as ultimate reality.
We also found new trait in our behavior led by greed and power and race of acquiring more and more matter settled in us. Matter was interpreted as ultimate truth and possessor of more matter was the supreme entity i.e. God as we named it.
Later societies were conditioned according these false principles and kept growing rapidly. There were hardly few, who understood this illusionary world and looked deep inside to know the real truth.
Situation started getting worsen and now we stand in situation, where suffering has become integral part of our societies. We are now conditioned to suffer no matter whatever we have. We are all bound to suffer as we have built societies in this way, where suffering is inherent.
To come out from this suffering, one must at least acknowledge the state of suffering. However, with having so much in mind and constantly being fed by society, it is almost impossible to shed this state.
However, I am still hopeful that one day entire human race shall understand their grandeur and shall work towards freeing themselves.
But somehow, we have already paid too much for our evolution and still paying more constantly.
Around a year ago, I watched Darren Aronofsky movie “Requiem For A Dream”. This movie had many disturbing scenes and perfectly portrayed mind capabilities to draw a different reality using its extraordinary imagination power. This different reality drove one particular character so much, that it started living with this reality all the time, ignoring every other thing.
After watching this movie, a very obvious question re-surfaced with intense desire to explore the answer. What is the actual power of human mind? What is it always moving? Who is watching the mind and who is being watched?
We often hear that one must have power to control the mind. But to me, it looks like great fallacy. Flow of thoughts is like strong and ferocious water waves forming in deadly sea storms. It is entirely foolish to hold such waves. Even if we try to hold then we would be the only one to carry all damage.
At one side, we have such astoundingly powerful machine capable of doing anything (literally anything) but on the other hand, we are the biggest victims of this power.
Constant flow of thoughts does not let us in ease with life and is always demanding something.
Probably to my own understanding, our approach is incorrect while handling this vast force of mind.
Whenever we are trying to control the mind, it implies that we are holding on to this energy and suppressing it. This situation leads to the blockage and generates a very restless state in mind. No matter how hard one can try to control, it is bound to be broken in aggressive manner.
I believe, we must channelize our mind. To do this, we must find the right direction wherein we can train our own mind to adopt new ways of exploration, new approach towards life and new possibilities.
We should also never force positive thinking on us because if mind is at peace then it will only think harmoniously or in other words peacefully and positively.
Controlling anything means forcing it to submit but channelizing means helping it to find new directions, new paths in this infinite consciousness.
If you are having the below mentioned state of mind then do watch the wonderful video just below the text. You may probably get the direction for the right answer.
What is real purpose of life? Who are we actually? Where are we heading for? Are there others like us?
My heart start sinking with these questions and I find myself trapped with the uncertainty of life. I can not help thinking about these questions and feel constant companionship these unanswered miseries of my own life or for that matter every one of us lives.
I may pretend to be busy by avoiding these questions but for how long and why. I don’t think, I shall be honest to myself by doing so.
Sometimes, I feel stuck as if end has arrived and nothing seems to going to anywhere. It may sound that it has something to do with all the material stuff; I have accumulated or still accumulating. But it certainly does not.
Unfortunately society also does not seem to be helping in this quest. Rather it has fed me with so much of conditioning that I am trapped. I know I should be moving but I can not.
I am inside a cage, which is made of gold. I feel suffocated and want to move out to roam around to experience my grand existence. But I can not come out because I have to prove myself and defend my false ego of being big and dominating.
I have all the reasons to come out but I know I won’t and my legs do not have strength to wander into unknown.
I am in cage and I am trapped. But funniest part of this social show that door of the cage is open and I am aware about it.
I hate to admit that but I feel like loser sometime.
For next few minutes, we shall experience self.
A self, me, myself
Who am I?
Who am I?*
Who am I?
Close your eyes and lie down on the floor comfortably
Loosen your body, your hands, your legs, your head
Let every part of your body be relaxed
Very very relaxed
Imaging yourself in the sky
Flying like a free bird
Let the music be your wings
Taking you to the infinite and unknown places
Take a deep breath
Very very deep breath
And release all your worries, your pain
And witness these washing away
Feel that you are being showered by pure energy
The energy which is you
Let every part of your body witness it
Be a part of this miracle
Keep flying my friend, keep flying
As this is what you rightfully deserve
Nature is very kind to all of us
Given such a wonderful gift of life
To feel to experience
Our own grandeur, our own infinite
Let it go, let it go, let it go
You are in space now
Oh what a wonderful beauty all around you
What you see is light
A pure and wonderful light
And you are experience this divine blessing
Oh mother nature
Why was I so blind?
I was not seeing myself
Oh mother nature
You are so beautiful
Take me in your arms and make me peaceful
I am in pain
Please take away all my worries and pain
And bless me
Oh mother nature
I am your child and I am crying
Please wipe my tears
Help me to find peace
My life is draining
Hold me mother
Hold me mother
I was so ignorant
I have failed to understand that I belong to this entire universe
And now I realize
That I am the universe
Thank you so much for showing me the light
I feel peace
I feel peace
And now I know
I am the Buddha
I am the Buddha
I am the Buddha
I know it now
I know it deep in my heart
I know it
I know it
Whenever I look around, I always find faces with tremendous unease, angry with themselves and in most of cases, having multiple complaints with life and its pace.
I am no exception to this when I see myself in the mirror.
I am compelled to think as to how and when this shall cease. Shall there be any logical end to this mental agony? Our social environment is full of demands and life has finally turned into plethora of compromises.
Shall there be any day, when I am harmonized with myself? Shall there be any moment, when everything is detached from me or rather I shall detach by myself?
Truly speaking, like a true seeker, I definitely do not have any right or appropriate answer to this. But I think there is a medicine to this deadly disease.
It is SILENCE.
If you observe carefully then you’ll realize that our problems do not lie with the events of external world but our reactions of those events internally.
Our upbringing has been difficult in regard to fact that we were fed with the information and opinions. We really never had the choice to choose or express our liking or disliking due to our high level of dependency socially.
We wanted to be in control of our own life and by the time we realize this, we are trapped with so called responsibility stigma.
Ultimately it results in the stagnation of every sort of personal growth. Whatever information was programed in childhood has actually become the basis or foundation of every decision we take or intend to take.
Noble silence is definitely an effective tool to fight and overcome difficulties by maintaining it. Noble silence means that your mind is not indulged in any mental activity but just witnessing everything. You are a mere observer to your thought and not reacting or acting on these.
Thoughts come and go. You are a mere spectator completely detached from yourself.
This is probably mediation in deep and true sense.
To me, silence is only the tool I find to live in harmony.
